I Hate the Old Saying “Healthy Food, Healthy Heart”

Why do so many people go on about ‘health food’ and healthy food in your diet? It seems that it is a new fad or way trend today. Why can’t we just do what we want to how we want and when we want? Why is our body not adaptable or able to handle the junk food that we constantly shove down our throats? It’s not fair that if I eat chocolate cake and chips all day that my body wants to ‘pack on the pounds’,… after all I hate exercise.

If this is your thinking, then as you could imagine, you may want to change your thinking. Believe it or not – it is not the foods fault, rather, it probably has something to do with your decision to buy it in the first place. Losing weight and living a healthy life is not an overnight cure. It is a way of life.

So why do I hate the saying “healthy food, healthy heart”? Well it is because so many around us just do not get the picture. They are slowing dying right before our eyes and there is nothing that we can do about it. Only they can save themselves. If this is you, then save yourself. Change the saying to “Get out and live, my decision, my life”. When you make this realization, healthy food is not a dirty word, but rather just a way of life.

So, we can now all say…I Love to eat my greens

Green food is amazing. Some of it tastes like dirt, but most of it tastes sweet. The fact that green vegetables are ‘health food’, and deliver essential elements and minerals is really irrelevant when you love chewing on these natural foods. Try raw string beans or snow peas as a snack during the day. Or what about carrots, celery, or even broccoli stems. Yes – raw foods are a great snack, and totally healthy, fun and relatively cheap. Warning – make sure they are fresh – as there is nothing worse than trying these foods after they are old. Make sure they are crisp and ‘snap’ when bent.

So eat some fresh raw veggies today, and you won’t have to worry about the misrepresented saying “Healthy Food, Healthy Heart”.

Natural Foods = Healthy Foods = Fat Loss Foods

The problem today why so many people are overweight and there is an increase in heart diseases is because we eat more and more processed foods, and most people think they are healthier but they couldn’t be more wrong.

The key is to eat as natural and unprocessed foods as possible, eat as much organic as possible, the natural and organic fats are actually good for you and will help you lose fat instead of gain more of it. The human body is not meant to eat lots of sugar, processed foods and refined oils, mankind has lived millions of years without it and now we suddenly put enormous amounts of it into our bodies and they just can’t take it.

For example a lot of people think real organic butter is bad for you because of there is so much fat in it so instead they buy processed butter with low or no fat at all in them. Again natural fat is not bad for your health, we actually need it.

You can learn a lot about fat loss by looking out what the cave men ate, they ate what they could find; and what was that? Natural organic food of course, for example the only thing they drank was water, water is better than you think and does wonderful things to your body and one of them is to increase your fat loss! Don’t forget to drink lots of it too, you should drink half your weight (in pounds) in ounces so for example if you weigh 150lbs you should drink 75 ounces of water every day.

One natural food that you should stay away from though is wheat, even if it’s whole wheat don’t eat it, there are no exceptions here, bread, pasta you name it, if it got wheat in it stay away and if you do it will help a lot to lose fat.
